Devices can be reserved via the online device booking system.

Please note the following information:

• ZIM lends its equipment primarily for study, teaching and research purposes to members of the University of Wuppertal for short periods.
• Students have the option of lending equipment for longer periods for bachelor’s and master’s theses as well as for research and project work. However, they must justify the need for a longer lending period in detail and obtain confirmation from their lecturers.
• Equipment and accessories are lent out according to availability and in the order of reservation requests. There is no entitlement to the loan of specific equipment.
• For a successful confirmation of the loan request, all information on the loan form must be complete and correct, including a telephone number where the borrower can be reached, and sufficient justification. Incomplete or insufficient applications cannot be accepted.
• The equipment must be collected in person upon presentation of a valid photo ID (identity card, passport or service card).
