  • Recurring weekly lending:
For all students and staff who regularly (e.g., once a week) organize or attend events and need the same device continuously.
Requirement: A plausible explanation of the necessity of the lending.
  • Long-term lending (up to three months):
For students and staff working on a bachelor’s or master’s thesis, or other academic projects.
Requirements: A plausible explanation of the necessity of the lending and proof of ongoing work (e.g., confirmation from supervisor).
  • Mobile inductive hearing systems for students with hearing impairments:
For students with hearing impairments or those who have difficulty maintaining focus due to surrounding noise.
Requirement: Confirmation of necessity by the Disability Advice Service.
  • Semester lending of cables and adapters (for one semester):
For teaching staff offering more than one course per week – supporting teaching activities and ensuring sufficient technical coverage in classrooms and lecture halls.
Requirement: A plausible explanation of the necessity of the lending, proof of the course(s), and confirmation that the required cables or adapters are not available in the room.

We not only provide free equipment – we’re also happy to advise you on the best use of media technology and offer guidance on how to operate each device.

A quick note:

Our equipment lending service is exclusively available for teaching and research purposes. Use of the service to bridge long-term equipment shortages within university departments is not intended. As the number of available devices is limited, lending is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan your equipment needs ahead of time to ensure smooth operation and availability.
